Sungurbey Mosque
There are two views regarding the dating of the mosque, based on the inscriptions: 980 AH/1572–73 AD or 985 AH/1577 AD. Founder: Baysungur Bey, son of Rüstem Bey, Bey of Pertek
HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES OF THE BUILDING
The mosque has a square floor plan. The prayer hall is domed, with a three-part rear prayer area to the north and a minaret to the north-west. The structure features high drum sections, with the transition to the dome achieved via trompes. The main entrance on the north façade is richly decorated.
